NFDF medical team with support of International Medical Corps provided emergency medical support at Gorkha and Dhading districts immediate after first earthquake. Gorkha district was an epicenter of first quake.
NFDF organized two medical camps at Piskar and Budepa of Sindhupalchowk district where more than 150 victims were treated and some serious cases were brought to Barhabise health center.
NFDF delivered emergency medicines and surgical supplies (total cost of 2 lakh Nepalese rupees) to Dhulikhel hospital for immediate medical support to earthquake victims.
NFDF organized a medical camp at Marbu VDC of Dolakha district. Marbu is a Himalayan VDC, where there temporary camps were placed for internally displaced population by earthquake. At the camp, 375 people got benefitted.
NFDF organized a specialist medical camp at Rawadolu VDC of Okhaldhunga district for five days. 1785 people got benefitted from the camp. General check up, gynecology, eye, dental, surgery, orthopedic, video x-ray (Ultrasonography), blood sugar test services were provided at the camp.
